Hello, welcome to my Botanical Universe

I’m Catalina, the artist.

My oil imagery shifts between vivid color and delicate tone, bringing life to blooming flowers in construction zones, transforming cityscapes, and hybrid figures I call Botanical Beings.

I collect images of ‘superlative plants‘—too bright, too strange, too dangerous—and use them as seeds for imagined worlds.

My work questions boundaries—between self and other, desire and limit—and invites reflection on what it means to belong, survive, and create meaning in a world both wild and constructed.
