Catalina Cortés is a Colombian artist based in Barcelona. Her paintings explore the dialogue between inner landscapes and the natural world, weaving themes of solitude, resilience, and transformation.

Trained in Bogotá, Catalina holds a degree in Plastic Arts and a specialization in Art Education from the National University of Colombia. Since moving to Spain in 2013, she has expanded her practice through studies in social communication and education, deepening her exploration of identity, memory, and belonging.

Her work bridges personal and geographical shifts, creating imagined spaces where adaptation becomes narrative. Catalina has exhibited in group shows across Europe, and her art is part of private collections worldwide.
